Youshiko YC9075: just the temperature, with a smart alarm
The YC9075 does one job cleanly; set the alarm to fit your use and site the sensor well.
Set the threshold that matters to you
Choose the outdoor temperature that should trigger the alert — freezing for a frost warning, or a minimum for a greenhouse. That single setting is what makes this more than a thermometer.
Shade the sensor
Mount the outdoor sensor out of direct sun and rain so the reading — and the alarm that depends on it — is honest. A north wall or a sheltered eave is ideal.
Read the min/max each morning
The permanent 24-hour high and low tell you how cold it got overnight and how warm it peaked, resetting on their own each day. It's the quiet feature you'll check most.
